LOL, I'm glad you posted those instead of me, he he! I actually had some hopes for Sarah Fisher but that never happened. I'd love to see Danica just run the guys down. Sure be fun to watch. If Kyle Bush can drive, why not Danica!

I was at the Texas Motor Speedway race, when Sarah & Jr got together between turns 1 & 2. That was definately JR's fault, even though most MEN blamed Sarah.  That's the kind of BS I'm worried about.  It made for huge discussions all over the local radio & news.

Oh, I know drivers blame drivers. The exception was that because she's female, it was her fault. It was obvious that Jr came down on her.

ok, that didn't sound right.... :-[

I've little doubt that the good old boys will rally around to protect the good old boys sport.

It's a shame really. When I first moved up here I used to cover the races at Speedway 7 and Painsville Speedway. I remember well watching Cora Arklin (a pink haired grandmother) racing against all the guys.  :)

Last I knew that woman was still selling real estate. Back to Danica. I don't have a problem with her being a driver. But a lot of drivers have come over from open wheel and didn't make it. While they both involve cars that go fast, the two sports are like night and day.

It's my opinion, Nascar is more brutal and rougher to race, than IRL.
Remember, Nascar's roots were moonshiners in the south. Then there's drivers like Dale Earnhardt, that had a skill for INTIMINATIING the other drivers.
I had the chance to drive my own car on TMS, surrounded by pace cars and a dozen other regular folks. We were supposedly allowed up to 75mph, but actually made it to 95mph. Taking those high banks almost made me pee my pants, the first time. After that, I video taped it, LOL!!

There you go..I mean I told my husband one more season of the jimmie johson show and/or they kyle bush show I'm done. he can watch it in the bedroom alone.
we try and go to at least one race a year. I hope Danica show's the boys exactly where they belong. (In the wall) I've now changed from sprint cup watching to nationwide watching. she may only be racing a few months this year maybe I'll get my dream trip in instead of sitting in front of the tv on sundays and watching reruns....(the jimmy johnson show ) Go Danica.....
